Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) is a widespread disease that usually affects domestic cats. It's resulting from a virus – a type of agent that inserts its genetic material into the cat's genetic makeup. Different from some other feline illnesses, FeLV is highly contagious, spreading felv easily through saliva, nasal secretions, urine, and excrement.
